New Public Policy Poll Shows Donald Trump Losing Significant Ground, GOP Nominee Rubio Climbing

(Townhall) - A new national survey just released by Public Policy Polling shows that although Donald Trump is still the national frontrunner, he's lost significant support among the GOP field since coming in at second place in Iowa Monday. 


According to the survey, Trump has dropped to 25 percent among Republican primary voters, down nine points from December. Senators Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio are tied nationally at 21 percent and the rest of the field, with the exception of Dr. Ben Caron with 11 percent, sit in single digits just days before the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary. 
The results of Rubio's third place "win" in Iowa Monday are evident in this new survey, showing he had the most to gain by getting a ticket out of the Hawkeye state and into the Granite. Read more.
