Justin Bieber beats JEB! Bush in presidential poll (but JEB! tops Tom Brady!)

(Sun Times Network) - In yet another sign of Jeb Bush’s struggling presidential campaign, he came in behind Justin Bieber in a new presidential poll released Tuesday morning. Bush did manage to beat out New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, a good friend of Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
While the poll from Morning Consult and Vox may sound as nutty as some Public Policy Polling surveys looking at fake candidates such as Deez Nuts, it is quite serious and takes a look at facial recognition of candidates. Standard polls show how much support a candidate has, but this one can be used to gauge how successful campaigns have been at exposing their message — and their candidates — to the public.
It also sheds some light on how little attention some people are paying to the race just a week before the first voters officially weigh in.

Four celebrities were used in the poll to establish a baseline: George Clooney, Bill Murray, Justin Bieber and Tom Brady. Both Hillary Clinton (97 percent) and Donald Trump (96 percent) beat out Clooney, who was correctly identified by 91 percent of those polled.

Bush, who once was considered the GOP favorite but now is adistant fifth in the Real Clear Politics national polling average, came in sixth in the facial recognition poll with 77 percent of those surveyed being able to identify him. Both Bill Murray (87 percent) and Justin Bieber (85 percent) beat him.

Tom Brady — who was shown out of uniform — was beat by every top-tier presidential candidate except for Florida Sen. Marco Rubio. Fifty-six percent of respondents were able to identify Brady, but only 54 percent knew who Rubio was, despite Rubio polling third in the GOP field. Read more.
