What drives Al Gore?

Is it global warming?  Yeah, we all know that.  But since 2000, its also been money.  Making lot's of it. Some say Al Gore is richer now than Mitt Romney. And Al is not particular about how he makes his money, such as selling a TV network for hundreds of millions to Al Jazeera.

Why is Al so hellbent of becoming super-rich?  One reason might be that he intends to use that wealth for a particular purpose.  That purpose might be to avenge what happened to him fifteen years ago.

There is no doubt that the only votes that really matter in the US these days are the ones cast with a checkbook.  And Al is quickly putting himself in a position to vote with meaning and purpose. Could Al be getting ready to use that money to torpedo an old nemesis who rigged the crucial state's electoral vote in 2000, and denied him the White House?  Just could be.
