(New York Daily News) - Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger will throw his support behind Jeb Bush in the 2016 election, according to a report. The ex-chief diplomat and Republican heavyhitter is expected to formally endorse Bush, who hasn't yet formally announced a presidential bid but is all but certain to do so at a Thursday fund-raiser luncheon hosted by Bush's Right to Rise political action committee, the New York Observer reported Tuesday. The Feb. 12 lunch, which Bush and Kissinger will both attend, will come just a day after the former Florida governor attends another Right to Rise fund-raiser at the Park Avenue home of Henry Kravis, co-founder of private equity firm KKR & Co.
