In 2008, it was a young, new, and "exciting" minority Democrat with against a old, rich, white millionaire Republican who couldn't remember how many houses he owned. In 2004, the contrast between the Massachusetts sail-boating liberal Democrat and the hay-tossing Texas Republican couldn't have been greater. A Hillary Clinton/Jeb Bush 2016 presidential match-up could be a race where the two main candidates actually share most of the same negatives and cancel them out.
