What might be more incredible than a Rothschild sponsoring an exhibition of Hitler artwork? (Such a paradox actually occurred when Deborah Rothschild organized one at Williams College in 2002)
How about anyone, other than maybe a suburban mall Kinkade galleria sponsoring an exhibition of George W. Bush paintings? If you have seen the recent "Monuments Men" movie by (godless liberal) George Clooney (or read the book it was based on) you know Hitler never got around to opening the "Fuhrer Museum" in his hometown of Linz, Austria, where one might have expected to see a vast exhibition of its namesake's watercolors alongside the plundered works of Western Civilization's best oil masters. Anyone with a cynical sense of historical humor though can soon view over two dozen "never before exhibited portraits" on display in George W. Bush's presidential "library" in Dallas. The exhibition is rather grandly billed as ""The Art of Leadership: A President's Personal Diplomacy," and will open in April.
There is no telling what delightful goodies await the discerning lover of art. More dogs and self nudes perhaps? If you didn't know W. was now an "artist," you can read more at:
